General FAQ

Q1. I assume when buying a skin I get all types and colors of this skin, correct? E.g. RubyCut says: "Choice of skin types".

Q2. Is the source code also provided so that I would be able to modify small thing if needed?

Q3. The skins with flash, can I use the provided flash and change the text in the flash (e.g. RubyCut). If so do I need a flash program like Macromedia Flash?

Q4. Please tell me how to get rid of the search module at the top right of each screen for some of the skins.

Q5. The skins you sale through the web site solarO are all included HTML source codes, since all of salarO's skins are HTML based rather than ASCX. Now I'm wondering if I purchase any skin pakage from salaro can I also have all the Visual Studio .Net 2003 ASCX source files in addition to the HTML source files? I need both versions. If yes, please tell me the procedure to getting both versions.

Q1. By changing the HTML skin file in a programme like DreamWeaver Can I can always remove the search token and language selector?

Q2. In general are the left and right columns fixed width, meaning if for example the menu page name on a left column exceeds the width, does the name wrap or the column expand?

Q3. If the skin description says "780px fixed: This skin is both 780px and 100% width type of skin with number of containers in each skin", does that mean besides fixed width also a flexible full width skin is available? Does Serenity or RubyCut come with flexible width?

Q4. What is the difference between 95% width and 100% width?

Q5. In general can I change the banner picture? I guess in some skins I could (e.g. whisper), but others like serenity not since the banner is intermingled with the border and not a single picture.
