The month of June has is traditionally an exciting time for me with DNN-Connect this year in Ireland just finished and I am very excited that in less than a week time, to be attending CEBIT followed by the Blockchain Summit in London later in June. The CEBIT event, however, is my favourite featuring exhibits, conferences and networking, covering the digitization of business, government and society from every angle. Its four sections – d!conomy, d!tec, d!talk and d!campus – represent an entirely new approach, but one thing remains the show’s core focus on generating leads and business for all attending!

d!conomy

Digitization has a new home: In seven halls, leading innovators present the full spectrum of latest transformation. I intend to learn about the trends, find inspiration, and most importantly: look for new ideas! This is where solution providers and public-sector players converge in CEBIT to exchange ideas and forge new relationships.

d!tec

I suspect this is where radical ideas and technologies that transform society and the economy are featured. I am looking forward to exploring disruptive business models in the spotlight – and everything on the topics of IoT, blockchain, chatbots, immersive technology, mixed reality, artificial intelligence, and deep learning. The future starts here.

d!talk

This is a new area that I had not seen in the previous events. Here the stars and pioneers of digitization will be showcasing their offerings on stage in more than 10 exhibition halls, sharing know-how and visions of particular relevance to the topics covered in each hall. I am hoping to find time to be there for inspiration and input that can make all the difference for future success.

d!campus

Organisers at CEBIT have tried to work towards creating memorable experiences by appealing to all the senses. Live music, virtual worlds to explore, street food served up by culinary artists – all this sets the scene for on-stage presentations sure to make a big splash. And I am looking forward to networking opportunities here at the conference!

I will be there to learn more about the conference format for a new time and details of more than 500 speakers and pioneers of digitization present for the first time presenting in more than ten stages with experts and businesses. Check out the speakers here and please do ping me here on Linkedin if you are around during the evening for a chat and a drink at the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday FireSide events. Do check out probably one of the best programme event diaries I have seen for CEBIT.
