iPhone & iPod Touch project is SalarOs first study of DotNetNuke usability within the enormously successful iPhone & iPod mobile devices arena. It is predicted that by end of this year, there will be Approx 100 million devices around the world. This OS is now well defined, so now is the time to also prduce sections in your site that is user friendly in this environment. SalarO Team have been working hard to provide a custom skin is using sIFR to enhance the fontography on portal see it here at Amey. We have also started a project that conforms to some accessibility standards. One requirement was to ensure that it tests well with wave.webaim.org/ and the other was that has to be tested against a screen reader such as JAWS. HealtheCard a complete solution using DotNetNuke and the site went live on time on 29th July in time for Daily Mail artical on the HealtheCard Product and Services.  Minimalist II is our three colour CSS Skin Pack for DNN, which proves that a more complex design is also possible with CSS skinning. and this is probably the one of the hardest one we did. It only has a minimum number of tables and highest number of Divs to make up a skin pack that is fast without compromizing the portal capablities. Great pack of Containers too. Minimalist II is the first skin pack that features our new Flash Module that allows you to manage the images as easily as any other module in DNN. The PA for this GREAT module is provided with this package.

 Voyage is our Five colour CSS Skin Pack using Navigation Suite Menu from DNN360.net and the submenus in the right side using the DNN core menu. We have used the navigation suite menu as skin object for the main menus which is Search Engine Friendly .It also comes up with CSS and XSL files for customization. The skin is mainly css with good XHTML just a few Tables for content panes that DNN finds it easy to populate rather than DIV content panes.
This months SalarO team has successfully produced an advanced skinpack that changes the colours of the skinpack like a chameleo. Please have a look byclicking here, This further helps our progress towards XHTML compliancy with our new packaged skins and any new custom skin we produce. Any new releases of skins are running on 4.82 -5.0 Final. would be using the new DNN menu and combined with streamlined minimum table maximum DIV layouts. and therefore, they will have a much better compliancy for XHTML.

If your homepage is slow to response it will reduce your first hits. Upgrade and Re Skinning should improve this. You will find that also some skin tokens like search is also improved as well as a better support for ML so our European customers should experience improvements in this area.
 We have made further improvements to the Accessibility Module we have produced please see our SkinPack with this great Accessibility Control panel. These improvements are likely to be picked up with DNN 5.x. Please watch this space for further news.
 See our new Packaged skin packs. We are now using the NEW DNN MENU rather than SolpartMenu which is slowly is being phased out, we would now be suggesting that you should consider to change the skin that we have previously produced for you to either Telerik Menu or one of the more advanced third party menus available for DNN. DNN's own new default Nav Menu is also fairly XHTML compliant; however, it still has some issues with iphone. Nevertheless, it should prove much faster and cross browser compatible, and since Jon Henning is one of the main core team members, therefore he would ensure that the menu is improved with every revisions on DNN.
Please note that some of the new mobile devices such as the extremely popular iphone, do need Telerik or some of the newer third party menus to comply with these mobile devices.
